Phyllostachys nigra Black Bamboo (bam.nig)
Black bamboo, intensely black stems deeply glossy like polished ebony. Some variation in colour going from deeply spotted to solid black. Excellent specimen in the garden or tub. Height 1.5 to 8m. Hardy to -20c.
